Last night was the first official In Context show on WPKN… and it was a huge success! We were joined by special guest Jason Bermas, director of the films Invisible Empire and Fabled Enemies and producer of Loose Change, the viral documentary about 9/11’s many unanswered questions.
We took calls that spanned a variety of angles and discussed some points that are documented here:

We also discussed the policy paper “Rebuilding America’s Defenses” by the Neo-Conservative think tank “Project for a New American Century”, released in September of 2000 that simply states that empire building is America’s biggest priority. The paper contains the now famous statement “the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event – like a new Pearl Harbor.”
Begin off topic commentary: This statement is mixed into an argument for a global missile shield, against enemies that we armed. The members of PNAC seem to think they hold the divine right of kings, seated atop the world’s throne playing politics like a card game without any national allegiance. The “debunkers” of these claims dismiss statements like this one because they couldn’t see the harm in missile defense, or assume that these elitists would actually want America to succeed without considering how all of their foreign policy decisions are to actually weaken America’s ability to stay free and independent. Modern foreign policy by both the left and right are moving towards world government under global hedgemony, whether under American leadership or otherwise. The war-hawks in the government and media who publish these policy papers only further demonstrate their disconnect from the real world since none of them will ever be shot at while running patrols in a 105º heat.
